The city leaders meet the delegation of Australian Northern region
The deputy chairman of the municipal People Committee Le Thanh Son
has just had a meeting with the delegation of Australian Northern region led as
the chief by Mr. Jeff Stewart – the executive director of the
Asia-MOF-Enterprise & innovation Connection Program.

The deputy chairman of the municipal People Committee Le Thanh Son
has just had a meeting with the delegation of Australian Northern region led as
the chief by Mr. Jeff Stewart – the executive director of the
Asia-MOF-Enterprise & innovation Connection Program.
At the meeting, The deputy chairman of the municipal People
Committee Le Thanh Son introduce the delegation achievements in socio-economic
development of Hai Phong in 2016 as well as deployment of key projects in the
city. The deputy chairman of the municipal People Committee Le Thanh Son
proposed the Australian Northern Region to consider co-operations in tourism,
employment of highly qualified laborers especially in agriculture, processing,
cooperation of education and training, at the same time to facilitate small and
mid-scaled enterprises of Hai Phong to do business with enterprises of the
Australian Northern Region.
Thanking to the warm welcome of Hai Phong city’s leaders, Mr. Jeff
Stewart agreed with proposals of the city and emphasized that the Australian Government
also expects to cooperate with Vietnam commonly and Hai Phong city particularly
in above aspects. The Australian Govt. also proposes airlines of Vietnam to
promote and open flight routes from Hai Phong to localities of Australia
directly.
Regarding the MOU between Hai Phong and the authorities of the
Australian Northern region signed in Feb, 2014, both parties agreed to
coordinate to promote and carry out aspects as education, training,
argriculture, processing, importing and exporting cattle and related services.
