Alongside traditional ceremonies, including the announcement of the festival, the seal-opening ceremony, prayers for peace, the lantern festival, processions, worship ceremonies and the death anniversary of Saint Tran, the festival offers a wide range of activities for local residents and visitors.

At the Con Son site, traditional folk art performances, water puppetry shows and other cultural activities will take place from September 26 to October 3.

The Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week, running from September 26 to October 4, will showcase traditional craft villages, OCOP products, agricultural produce and local cuisine, while promoting connections between tourism routes. Artisans will directly introduce production processes and share stories behind their products, giving visitors an opportunity to explore traditional crafts and local culture.

Digital technology will also be applied to support visitors through QR codes integrated into the Smart Hai Phong platform, providing access to event schedules, site maps, information about tourist attractions, dining and accommodation services, and related tourism routes.

The festival grounds have been upgraded, with additional heritage identification systems, information points and experiential zones. These expanded activities place heritage values at their core and help connect the Con Son – Kiep Bac heritage sites with other heritage destinations in Hai Phong, Quang Ninh and Bac Ninh.
