In Thuy Nguyen Ward, in spite of hot weather from early morning, the enthusiasm and love for the environment of the participating forces have been kept. With practical activities such as environment clean-up; fights against plastic waste; prevention of sidewalk order violation... the campaign has conveyed positive messages and spread community activities for the environment. The Clean Up the World campaign was initiated by Australia and has been launched by the United Nations Environment Program since 1993. It has been held in the third week of September every year and become an annual international event. In Vietnam, the campaign has drawn the attention and response of ministries, localities and all social classes with many specific and practical activities.
