USD 311 mil and VND 2,134.8 bil of FDI in IZs

By end of July, the IZs in Haiphong have attracted USD 311.3 million of FDI and VND 2,134.8 billion of domestic investment. As for July only, Haiphong Economic Zone Authority granted investment certificates to 4 FDI projects with total registered capital of USD 102.2 million and 1 domestic project with total capital of VND 62.1 billion.

Most of FDI projects have engagedin Dinh Vu IZ and VSIP Haiphong. Among the newly-licensedones were Yusen Haiphong Co., Ltd with the Yusen Dinh Vu warehouse and storage project having total capital of USD 21.1 million; IML Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd with the plastic packagingmanufacturing factory project having total capital of USD 11 million; and Knauf Vietnam Co., Ltd with the KnaufDinh Vu gypsum board plant having total capital equivalent to EUR 30 million, etc.
