Attending the conference were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Lien Huong - Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Health; Mr. Le Khac Nam - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City  People's Committee and many international and domestic delegates. 

With the theme “Transforming Asia’s Health System towards an Equitable, Low Carbon and Climate-resilient Health System”, the conference focused on assessing the role of the health sector towards health equity through promoting strong environmental standards and policies, reconstructing post-pandemic and post-disaster. Speaking at the conference, the Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People’s Committee Mr. Le Khac Nam emphasized that Hai Phong always pays special attention to the development and application of scientific research advances in life as well as in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors. The conference is a great event in transforming Asia’s health system, health care, and sustainable development, as well as an opportunity to learn, exchange internationally, promote training quality, propose strategies to ensure nutrition, clean water, and environmental sanitation, and adapt to climate change. As planned, the conference takes place from October 30 to November 1, 2024./.
