On March 28th, Mr. Le Trung Kien, Standing Member of Hai Phong City Party Committee, Head of the Haiphong Economic Zone Authority attended the Inauguration Ceremony of the Factory of Pourin Special Welding Vietnam Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park.
The Pourin Special Welding Factory project was granted an investment registration certificate in January 2024 and has been completed quickly and safely. The factory’s operation is a result of a serious investment process and a clear demonstration of the investor's sustainable development steps in Hai Phong City.
The factory covers an area of over 150,000 m2, with a total investment of over 59 million USD, meeting not only the growing demand of the world market but also creating sustainable employment opportunities for local workers, contributing to the economic development and social security of the city.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Le Trung Kien said that China has long been an important partner of Hai Phong City, not only in the field of economic cooperation but also in the environment, education, health and agriculture sector, of which, China ranks second in total investment capital in the city, with more than 245 projects and a total investment capital of up to 6.2 billion USD, accounting for 22% of the total FDI capital in the city's Industrial Parks and Economic Zones.
The Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority emphasized that Hai Phong has always been one of the leading localities in Vietnam in attracting FDI, with an annual average of FDI attraction of about 3.5 billion USD. The city has become the choice of large corporations such as Flat, Tongwei, TP Link, Sanhua, Autel, affirming Hai Phong as an ideal destination for investors, while deepening the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and China. Hai Phong City is always ready to support Chinese enterprises and considers China a strategic partner in the process of economic, trade and investment cooperation.
The Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority affirmed the inauguration ceremony is a testament to the investor's continuous efforts in constructing and completing the project while ensuring progress speed and absolute safety. He requested that in the coming time, Pourin Special Welding Vietnam Production Co., Ltd. will continue to promote the successes achieved, promote sustainable and effective production activities. He also requested that enterprises in the Industrial Park, when implementing projects, must comply with the provisions of relevant laws, research and apply modern, environmentally friendly technologies, contributing to the goal of green transformation in Hai Phong's industrial production. The city's leaders, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority and the city’s Departments, branches and sectors pledged to continue to support, accompany, closely follow and assist the company throughout the project's operation./.
