Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Anh Quan affirmed that in 2024, following the direction of the Government, Hai Phong City has resolutely and synchronously implemented solutions, and the city's socio-economic situation has achieved many positive results: The city's GRDP growth rate is estimated at 11.01%, ranking 3rd in the country, 1.6 times higher than the national average. Total state budget revenue reached VND 117,360 billion, equivalent to 119.9% ​​of the central budget estimate. The rate of development investment expenditure in Hai Phong is estimated to reach over 50% of the total local budget expenditure.

Concluding the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated the results achieved by the Financial sector in 2024, ensuring increased revenue and savings in expenditure. Deploying the tasks for 2025, the Prime Minister requested the Financial sector to unify the proposed solutions, focusing on operating fiscal and monetary policies with a focus and key points to ensure macroeconomic stability, control inflation, and promote growth rate. The Financial sector needs to propose stronger solutions to the Government, and reduce administrative procedures; tax fraud, and waste in the use of the budget and public assets. In 2025, the financial sector will focus on restructuring the apparatus according to Resolution No. 18 of the 12th Party Central Committee titled “Several issues on continuing to innovate and rearrange the organizational apparatus for an elite and streamlined political system with efficient and effective operations”./.
