Rally For National Month Of HIV/AIDS Prevention
On November 25th morning, Hai Phong City People's Committee coordinated with the Ministry of Health to organize a national rally in response to the National Action Month for HIV/AIDS Prevention and World AIDS Day on December 1st. Mrs. Dao Hong Lan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Health Minister, Vice Chairman of the National Committee for Prevention and Control of AIDS, Drugs, and Prostitution; Mr. Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation attended the event.
The theme of this year's National Action Month for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control is "Creative Community–Determined to end the AIDS epidemic by 2030". The Health Minister called on everyone to immediately commit together and join hands to take action, claiming even the younger ones can contribute to ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030.
At the rally, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Mr. Le Khac Nam, called on the entire social community to respond and proactively participate in HIV/AIDS prevention and control activities. He called for the health sector to strengthen the participation of the health sector’s entire system, including public and private health systems, from city, district, ward, commune, and town levels in expanding and improving the quality of HIV/AIDS prevention and control services./.
