Photo Exhibition of President Ho Chi Minh and Hai Phong City
On the afternoon of May 8, at Hai Phong City’s Exhibition House, the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Home Affairs held the opening ceremony of the photo and document exhibition on: "The life and career of President Ho Chi Minh", "Hai Phong 70 years of construction and development through archival documents" and "Hai Phong - Faith and aspiration to rise up".
The activity belongs in a series of events held to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025) and the 2025 Red Flamboyant Flower Festival.
The exhibition displays more than 400 photos, archives, excerpts, and statistics providing valuable information and documents about the life and great revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh. During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always had much affection and care for the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Phong.
The exhibition also depicts the 70-year process of construction and strong development of Hai Phong City after liberation, with outstanding socio-economic achievements in the process of innovation, industrialization, modernization, and international integration, demonstrating a strong aspiration to rise up./.
