Hai Phong delegation pays tribute to president Ho Chi Minh
To mark the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, a delegation from the Hai Phong Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, led by member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly

Eighty-one years ago, on September 2, 1945, at Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. His ideology, ethics and style have become an invaluable spiritual legacy, guiding the cause of national construction and protection. During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh visited Hai Phong 14 times, leaving a deep impression on the city's Party committee, authorities and people.

Immediately after the tribute ceremony, the Hai Phong delegation visited the residence and workplace of President Ho Chi Minh at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site within the Presidential Palace complex. The delegation also laid a wreath and offered incense at the Bac Son Memorial to Heroes and Martyrs, paying tribute to those who made heroic sacrifices for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people.
