The delegation focused on assessing the companies’ compliance with food safety regulations, measures to control risks affecting product quality and safety, as well as difficulties and obstacles faced by the businesses. It also listened to their views and recommendations on the implementation of food safety regulations.

The findings will provide a basis for the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation to identify issues arising in practice, particularly regulations that remain inadequate or unsuitable, and recommend that competent authorities review and improve relevant policies and laws.

Concluding the supervision, Deputy Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation La Thanh Tan praised the companies for their sense of responsibility and compliance with food safety regulations, and their efforts to overcome difficulties.

The delegation will fully consider the proposals and recommendations raised by the businesses and report them to competent authorities, ensuring food safety regulations in line with current practical requirements.

The businesses were also asked to take full account of the delegation’s recommendations and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
