The leaders of Haiphong Party Committee's Propaganda and Training Commission requested the central and city press agencies to continue to inform and propagate results of the 8th session of the 13th Party Central Committee; information on socio-economic development results of the country and city in 2023, directions, key tasks and theme implementation in 2024; preparation for Tet goods sources, measures to ensure food safety, prevent and combat smuggling and counterfeit goods; fire and explosion prevention and illegal firecrackers, ensuring traffic safety and meeting people's travel needs. Besides, it is necessary to promote propaganda to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Cat Bi Victory Day on March 7. The victory was crucial to Haiphong’s Party Committee, government, people, and armed forces in the resistance war against the French colonial invasion and other important contents. 

At the conference, the leaders of the City People's Committee provided information about the city's economic and social situation in 2023, as well as targets and main tasks for 2024, while answering questions given by press agencies. The Hai Phong Border Guard Command’s leaders informed press agencies about the plan to organize activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Border Guard's Traditional Day and the 35th  anniversary of the All-People Border Guard (March 3rd)./.
