City Leader Meets with Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Vietnam
On the morning of May 13, Mr. Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong city, received Mr. He Wei, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Vietnam. Also attending were Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Mr. Le Trung Kien, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, and leaders of relevant departments, branches and units.
At the reception, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau expressed his pleasure to welcome Ambassador He Wei and the Chinese delegation to visit and attend the 70th Anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025) and the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong in 2025. He affirmed that Hai Phong City always attaches importance to developing friendly relations and cooperation with Chinese localities, especially in the fields of economy, trade, investment, education, tourism and people-to-people exchange.
Mr. He Wei, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Vietnam, sent his congratulations on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day; and highly appreciated the dynamic and comprehensive development of the city in recent times. The Ambassador expressed his wish to further promote practical and effective cooperation activities between Hai Phong City and Chinese localities, making positive contributions to the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries./.
