Kinh Bac & Saigontel Groups Partners With American Co., To Develop Nam Do Son Port Project
Recently, Hai Phong City People's Committee together with Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation (HoSE: KBC), Saigon Telecommunications Technology Jsc., (Saigontel, HoSE: SGT), Energy Capital Vietnam Company (ECV) with The Port of Los Angeles - USA (POLA) have agreed to cooperate in the research and development of the Nam Do Son General Port project in Hai Phong City.
According to the plan, Nam Do Son port will be able to accommodate container ships with a capacity of up to 18,000 TEU, general and bulk cargo ships of up to 200,000 tons, liquid/gas cargo ships of up to 150,000 tons, and passenger ships of up to 225,000 GT. At the same time, this port will prioritize the industrial cluster in the area. A gas power center wharf will be constructed following the overall energy planning, electricity development planning, and serving the relocation of wharves on Cam River./.
