International Pediatric Center Opens
On October 27th morning, the Haiphong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital opened the International Pediatric Center and installed a construction sign to welcome the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Unions. Mr. Le Tien Chau–Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Phong City’s Party Committee, and Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation–attended the opening.

The International Pediatric Center has a scale of 500 beds, with a total investment of 600 billion VND, increasing the bed scale of Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital to 970 beds. The project is carried out in a construction area of 22,000 m2 with 16 floors and two basements, designed according to hotel and hospital standards, with modern, comfortable, and child-friendly space, well-invested and constructed ahead of schedule with high quality, completed after a year of construction.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee, Mr. Le Khac Nam, acknowledged and expressed appreciation to Hang Kenh Joint Stock Corporation in early planning an investment strategy to develop a synchronous, advanced, and modern system of hospitals and clinics, together with the city's public health system to respond well to medical examination and treatment; disease prevention and control and the increasing health care needs of people in the city and neighboring provinces and cities.
At the ceremony, under the witness of city leaders and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with the National Children's Hospital and the Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital. The representative of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor announced the decision to attach a sign to the project to welcome the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Unions and award certificates of merit to one collective and four individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the International Pediatric Center project.
