Hai Phong Police Launch Troops To Ensure Security And Order During Tet
Recently, at the Hai Phong City Theater Square, Major General Vu Thanh Chuong–Member of Hai Phong City’s Standing Party Committee and Director of the city’s Public Security, chaired the launching ceremony to deploy the HP22 force to ensure security and order during the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024. Mr. Le Khac Nam, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City Peoples Committee and Head of the City’s Steering Committee 779 attended the launching ceremony.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Hai Phong City People's Committee Vice Chairman Le Khac Nam demanded the City’s Public Security and the HP22 force proactively take measures to suppress crimes and juxtapose social prevention with professional prevention to reduce crimes related to social order. HP22 needs to drastically implement plans to fight against crime, contribute to ensuring social order and safety, continue to launch peak inspections, and suppress all types of crime, especially organized crime. Over the past year, especially in the past two months, the HP22 force has maintained 45 working groups with 660 officers and soldiers to strengthen patrols, control, promptly handle sudden and unexpected situations, receive information, resolve people's complaints, contribute to ensuring social order and safety in the city.

To ensure security and order during the upcoming Lunar New Year, Major General Vu Thanh Chuong, Director of Hai Phong City’s Police Department emphasized that after the launching ceremony, the heads of the police units and localities should strengthen command, direction, and gather forces and means to control and suppress criminals, in which the HP22 force should strictly implement plans, working on duty 24/7, especially in key areas, proactively detecting, preventing, stopping, and repelling all types of crime and law violations, ensuring peace for people before, during, and after the Lunar New Year 2024./.
