Connecting people with jobs, building a stronger future
Yesterday, in Ninh Giang Commune, the Hai Phong Employment Service Center held a job fair under the theme “Connecting people with jobs, building a stronger future.” The event attracted more than 600 students, discharged military personnel, people who had completed their compulsory public security service and workers from the commune and surrounding areas. It was also linked online with the national job transaction platform.
The event brought together 20 reputable businesses and vocational education institutions, offering more than 200 vacancies and nearly 20,000 job opportunities across a range of sectors, including garment manufacturing, electronics and sales services.
Beyond job placement, career counseling booths provided information on the labor market, vocational training, employment support policies, loans and programs sending Vietnamese workers abroad for fixed-term employment.
The event gave students and workers more information and a stronger basis for choosing careers and jobs suited to their abilities and actual needs.
With its practical approach, the “Connecting people with jobs, building a stronger future” job fair not only created more opportunities for employment and vocational training, but also brought labor market information closer to local residents.
It also helped strengthen the connection between labor supply and demand, supporting businesses in recruiting workers to meet their needs while helping job seekers find suitable and stable employment, thereby improving the effectiveness of human-resource utilization in the locality.
