Addressing difficulties for businesses
Hai Phong's Department of Home Affairs held a dialogue conference to address business proposals and concerns in the field of home affairs. The forum provided an opportunity for state management agencies to directly listen to the difficulties and obstacles facing businesses while seeking solutions at the grassroots.

Although the production market is gradually recovering, many businesses said their biggest difficulty remains recruiting and retaining workers. At the same time, competition among businesses for labor is also driving up personnel costs.

At the conference, the Department of Home Affairs received around 20 proposals from businesses, focusing on issues including labor and employment; vocational training and human resource development; occupational safety and hygiene; social security; administrative reform; and mechanisms to support businesses.

Implementing the Party Standing Committee's action program on developing the business and entrepreneur community, Hai Phong aims to have around 87,000 businesses operating in the city by 2030, with around 9,200 new businesses established each year. To realize this target, alongside improving the investment environment, reforming administrative procedures and enhancing the quality of human resources, maintaining regular dialogue conferences and promptly addressing businesses' difficulties and obstacles will continue to be an important solution, contributing to economic growth and helping Hai Phong become a modern industrial and service hub of the country.
