Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, a permanent member of the Sub-committee on documents of the 14^th National Party Congress, informed about the preparation for Documents of the 14th Party Congress based on the principle of summarizing practice, perfecting theory, evaluating not just one term, but also associating with many terms of inheritance and development, providing vision and direction for the next 20 years instead of 10 years. Along with evaluating the implementation results of the five-year term, the Document is to be associated with 40 years of implementing the country’s reform and development, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang required participants to clarify issues, demonstrate Hai Phong City's application in implementing the Party's viewpoints and policies, focus on correct and appropriate viewpoints, policies and contents to contribute to the Party Congress’s documents and then selecting priority issues for city development.

At the working session, delegates contributed and proposed ideas to implement socio-economic development during the term of the 13th and 14th National Party Congress and the 16th Hai Phong City’s Party Committee; works of ensuring national defense and security and strengthening diplomacy; building and rectifying the Party and political system as well as development directions of Hai Phong City in the coming time./.
