Hai Phong Ranks Among The Top Vietnamese Localities In FDI Capital
As of February 20th, 2024, the total foreign direct investment in Vietnam reached more than 4.29 billion USD, an increase of 38.6% over the same period last year.
Specifically, there were 405 new projects granted investment registration certificates, an increase of 55.2% over the same period last year, with a total registered capital of nearly 3.6 billion USD. The Investment capital is mainly concentrated in provinces and cities that have many advantages in FDI attraction, such as Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Thai Nguyen, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Bac Ninh, Dong Nai, Bac Giang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hung Yen. The ten localities alone accounted for 74.3% of new projects and 81.7% of the country's investment capital in the first two months of 2024./.
