Hai Phong Trade Union Tet Market 2025 Opened
On the evening of January 11, at the Viet-Czech Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) officially opened the Trade Union Tet Maảket 2025. The event, taking place from January 11 to 17, 2025, features over 200 booths from over 125 enterprises, units, and households from over 30 provinces and cities across the country.
The market offers a wide range of products, including food, services, household goods, and cuisine, with discounts of at least 10% compared to regular market prices. Nearly 8,000 union members and workers in the city will receive shopping vouchers worth 200,000 VND each to purchase goods at the market. It is expected that around 45,000 union members, workers, and local residents will visit and shop at the Trade Union Tet Market 2025. On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Hai Phong City presented 50 Tet gift packages to workers, civil servants, and employees in difficult circumstances. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also distributed more than 200,000 online shopping vouchers worth 500,000 VND each to outstanding union leaders, workers with excellent achievements, and workers with difficult circumstances. As part of the Tet Market activities, the Hai Phong Confederation of Labor also organized several meaningful programs, including health consultations, free medicine distribution, and special cultural and artistic events, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere ahead of the Lunar New Year 2025./.
