Promoting Caring Activities For The Poor
The message of Caring for the poor, leaving no one behind has become a key message to promote the tradition of mutual love in our nation. In a collaborative effort with donors and sponsors, Duong Kinh district in Hai Phong City has taken steps to support the poor and vulnerable through various meaningful actions and activities.
Seven houses were built by the end of 2023 with a generous 350 million VND of support from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Duong Kinh district and sponsors aimed at assisting households with difficult circumstances in the area. These beneficiaries, who are elderly and in poor health with no steady source of income, are given special attention and care. The "Great Solidarity" house project, after over two months of construction, has brought hope to these individuals, motivating them to keep striving for a better life.
Projects like these demonstrate the commitment of Party committees, authorities, businesses, and society as a whole to addressing the welfare and needs of the less fortunate. By upholding the nation's values of compassion and solidarity, the district ensures that no one is left behind, following the principle of “good leaves covering torn leaves.”
Each Great Solidarity House brings happiness to poor households and contributes practically to the upcoming Fatherland Front Congress for the term 2024-2029./.
