Under the plan, the Preliminary Round of the contest is expected to take place on October 10, 2026, at Doi Rong International Tourism Resort in Do Son Ward. The Final Round is expected to take place on November 7, 2026, at either Doi Rong International Tourism Resort in Do Son Ward or European Square at Vinhomes Royal Vu Yen in Thuy Nguyen Ward.

Previously, Doi Rong International Tourism Resort was selected to host several activities as part of the Miss World 2026 program.

The Miss Vietnam Contest is a major cultural event aimed at honoring the beauty, intelligence, confidence and aspirations of Vietnamese women in the era of international integration. Through the contest’s activities, Hai Phong seeks to promote and showcase its image, potential and strengths, while enhancing the city’s position and reputation among domestic and international audiences. The accompanying activities are also expected to promote tourism, services and other related local economic sectors.

The event also serves to concretize and effectively implement Politburo Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW dated January 7, 2026, on the development of Vietnamese culture, as well as the tasks and solutions set out in the Action Program of the 1st Hai Phong Municipal Party Committee. These include the goal of developing Hai Phong into a “Globally Connected City” and a hub for hosting international events./.
