Attending the event were Ms. Dao Khanh Ha, Standing Member of the city’s Party Committee and Head of the city’s Propaganda Committee; M/r Le Khac Nam, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Head of the City Committee for the Advancement of Women; Ms. Nguyen Thi Nghia, former Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation, representatives of international organizations; as well as leaders of relevant departments, branches, units and businesses in the city and the Women's Union.

At this year's Ao Dai Festival, the audience was immersed in a space of classical and contemporary art and culture that recreates the Ao Dai from its early form to the changes and unique characteristics of each era and historical period. The designers led the audience around Vietnam to honor the Ao Dai through unique designs that combine traditional cultural quintessence with innovative and creative modern fashion elements. Inspired by the image of Vietnam's idyllic homeland, from familiar landmarks attached to the land and people of Hai Phong City, they created and embroidered unique products with love, skills, and ingenuity.

Speaking at the Festival, Mr. Vu Thi Kim Lien, President of the City Women's Union, affirmed: As an indispensable part of Vietnam's cultural heritage, Ao Dai is not simply a national costume but also contains a rich history, tradition, and culture and national spirit of the Vietnamese people–the "national costume" of Vietnam. Therefore, Ao Dai is on the journey to have a worthy position in the list of Vietnamese cultural heritage and beyond, world heritage. /.
