Celebrating National Great Unity Day
On the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18), on the morning of November 4th, Mr. Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Haiphong Party Committee, Head of Haiphong National Assembly Delegation attended the National Great Unity Day in Duong Quan commune, Thuy Nguyen district. Also attending were Mr. Le Hai Binh–Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Mr. Pham Van Lap–Member of Haiphong Standing Party Committee, Chairman of Haiphong People's Council, and other members of Haiphong Standing Party Committee and leaders of the City People's Committee.
At the festival, the delegates and people of Duong Quan commune reviewed the 93-year tradition of the Vietnam National United Front. The event is also an opportunity to evaluate the achievements of the patriotic campaigns and emulation movements in the commune. As a leading locality in the movement of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas, in recent years, Duong Quan commune has performed social security thoroughly, encouraged study and talent, cared for and protected public health, and maintained political security, social order, and safety. The economic development and residents’ lives are constantly improving.
The National Great Unity Day contributes to strengthening friendships between villages, building a prosperous and happy life, joining hands to build new-style countryside models, and completing local socio-economic development tasks. /.
