Spectacular Art Program “Radiant Vietnam” and Brilliant Fireworks Celebrating National Day September 2 in Western Hai Phong
On the evening of September 2, at the Eastern Cultural Center Square, the city’s Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism organized a special art program titled “Radiant Viet Nam” to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025).
The program, directed and performed by the Eastern Cheo Theater, consisted of two parts: “The Sacred Spirit of Vietnam’s History” and “The Era of Rising Forward”. With outstanding music and dance performances, the show vividly recreated the nation’s heroic history, praised the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the homeland and the country, while affirming the aspiration to rise in the period of renewal and integration.
The event featured famous artists such as People’s Artist Manh Thang, Meritorious Artists Hong Tuoi and Hanh Bay, along with singer Doan Hong Hanh (Champion of Sao Mai 2022), singer Dat Ozy, rapper Cong Beat, actors and musicians of the Eastern Cheo Theater, and dance troupes Lavish, Diamond, and Binh Minh, who brought the audience emotionally rich performances.
In particular, performances such as “August 19th”, “Praise to President Ho Chi Minh”, “The Country in Complete Joy”, “Continuing the Story of Peace”, “On the New Expansive Road”, “Our Hai Phong”, and the mashup “The Road We Go – Great Circle of Unity” received warm applause from the city’s residents.
With elaborate staging and modern sound and lighting effects, “Radiant Viet Nam” along with a brilliant fireworks display created a memorable artistic festival, leaving beautiful impressions in the hearts of people in the western area of the city on this great national anniversary.
