Only 20 days left comes Do Son Traditional Buffalo Fighting Festival 2025. The preparation has been being made by functional units and localities, ensuring the success of the festival.
In terms of scale, this year's Do Son Traditional Buffalo Fighting Festival is basically the same as every year. It is expected that 16 buffaloes will participate in the festival. The buffaloes are distributed according to 6 wards of the old Do Son district, each ward will have 2 buffaloes. The remaining 4 slots are for localities with buffaloes that won 3rd prize, buffaloes that won 2nd prize and buffaloes that won the championship of Do Son Buffalo Fighting Festival 2024. In addition to the traditional rituals that started on August 1 (according to the lunar calendar), the festival part of the festival this year will starts on August 9 ( according to the lunar calendar), which fall son September 30.
