Vietnam is the only country in Southeast Asia that has entered the world's leading growth group, with a growth rate of 10% to 25%, ranking 6th in the world, much higher than the overall growth rate of Southeast Asia. According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the demand for tourism is recovering quickly at a much higher rate than its regional competitors. Recently, the tourism industry received good news when the National Assembly approved the extension of e-visa duration from 30 days to 90 days, valid for multiple entries. At the same time, the allowed temporary stay period for visa-free visitors was increased from 15 to 45 days. These policies will officially take effect from August 15th. The tourism industry is fully confident in its ability to attract a large number of tourists to Vietnam in the coming time, especially when the peak season for international tourism is approaching in the following months of the year.
