Vietnam-Czechoslovakia hospital successful in six kidney transplants
On the afternoon of May 21, Hai Phong City’s Vietnam-Czechoslovakia Friendship Hospital organized an evaluation of the kidney transplant process after one year of implementation. Attending the program were comrade Le Minh Quang, Director of Hai Phong City’s Department of Health, and representatives of the Vietnam-Germany Friendship Hospital and Vietnam-Czechoslovakia Friendship Hospital.

 

After a year of implementation, Vietnam-Czechoslovakia Friendship Hospital has successfully operated six kidney transplants for city residents. Currently, the patient's health condition is stable, the transplanted organs are compatible with the patient's body. This is the most modern and effective technique for treating end-stage kidney failure patients.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Director of Hai Phong City’s Department of Health Le Minh Quang acknowledged and congratulated the staff and doctors of Viet Tiep Friendship Hospital for mastering kidney transplant techniques in treating the city's people, demonstrating the determination of the entire political system, including the health sector, in making Hai Phong City a medical center of the Northern coastal region, making the Viet Tiep Friendship Hospital a specialized technical center of the city.

The Director of the Department of Health requested that in the coming time, hospital leaders continue to pay attention and direct so that the hospital continues to maintain and develop specialized techniques. The health industry will always support the hospital, creating favorable conditions for the hospital’s sufficiency in equipment, medical supplies, and drugs to treat patients./.
