Strengthening Connection In International Trade
On November 18th, business delegations from China, India, and South Africa, with a total of over 20 businesses and nearly 100 typical manufacturing and exporting businesses of Hai Phong City attended the Trade Connection Conference between Hai Phong businesses and Chinese, Indian, and South African businesses, organized by the Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Asia-Africa Market Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade at the City Convention Center. 

 

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Mrs. Phan Thi Thang, and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tho, affirmed that Vietnam in general and Hai Phong City particularly are committed to creating favorable conditions for investors to access and evaluate the investment environment, as well as seeking opportunities for development and cooperation. The city is focusing on promoting and attracting investment towards developing three economic pillars of industry - high technology, seaport - logistics, and tourism - trade. 


The Conference helps foreign organizations, investors, and businesses be informed about the environment and investment attraction policies, as well as the potential and strengths of Hai Phong City, giving access and helping evaluate the production and supply capacity of the city's export enterprises as well as grasp the local logistics development situation; connect and exchange information, and strengthen cooperation in the coming time./.
