The project includes the main T2 passenger terminal and auxiliary items such as technical buildings and access roads. Currently, construction is underway on the main structure and related items, including technical infrastructure and waste treatment facilities.
At the main terminal construction site, hundreds of workers and machines have been mobilized, taking advantage of favorable weather conditions to speed up progress.
For the passenger terminal, multiple construction tasks are being implemented simultaneously, with foundation and structural works nearing completion. After site handover, mass pile driving for the technical building is being carried out.
Identified as a key project with significant importance in completing aviation infrastructure in the North, contractors have arranged personnel to work continuously during holidays, Tet (Lunar New Year), and weekends, while strictly controlling quality and occupational safety. Supervision work is being conducted alongside construction.
Accelerating the project progress not only enhances passenger service capacity but also creates momentum to attract investment, develop tourism and logistics, in line with the orientation of building Hai Phong into a leading economic and service hub in the region
