Just over a month left comes the Lunar New Year, which is also the time to speed up the project construction site. The stormy season has passed, the weather is favorable, and with the initiative in human resources, vehicles, and equipment, the construction unit always works on the site. The bidding packages reach about 40% of the contract value. The unit also focuses on the solutions to protect and prevent natural disasters for completed items.

According to the roadmap, the project will be completed in 2025, in which the construction time to the dike’s surface level is about 24 months. Although construction was carried out in difficult conditions and weather, with synchronous solutions, up to now, the Project Management Board has disbursed the allocated capital, and the progress has been ensured.

The investment in the construction of the Nam Dinh Vu Sea dike in Dinh Vu Cat Hai Economic Zone demonstrates the city's high determination to proactively prevent natural disasters and minimize negative impacts due to climate change, contributing to ensuring security and national coastal defense of Hai Phong, gradually completing the planning for sustainable socio-economic development of the city. The dike, when completed and put into use, will create conditions to ensure safety for about 2,000 hectares of reclamation land to build an industrial park in the south of Dinh Vu peninsula, promoting investment attraction and creating jobs for more than 100,000 workers./.
