Olympic Running Day For Peoples Health 2024
To celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26th and the 78th anniversary of the Vietnamese Traditional Sports Day on March 27th, on March 24th morning, at the City Theater Square, the Department of Culture and Sports collaborated with Hai Phong City Youth Union to organize the Olympic Running Day for people’s health 2024, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among participants. Mr. Le Khac Nam, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City Peoples Committee, attended the event.
This year's Olympic Running Day attracted 65 blocks from various departments, branches, localities, youth union members, and residents across the city. Speaking at the event, the Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee highlighted the importance of health as the most valuable asset for individuals and the nation. Hai Phong City always prioritizes physical training and sports activities for residents’ health, cultural, and spiritual needs. Like previous events, this year's Olympic Running Day was conducted safely and seriously, fostering a vibrant and lively atmosphere among all the people of the port city.
Olympic Running Day aims to encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds to cultivate the habit of regular exercise, thereby improving physical fitness. This initiative aligns with the goals of the Campaign "All people exercise following Great Uncle Ho's example" and the movement to "Be healthy to excel in work and defend the nation" among the city's youth. By enhancing health and well-being, individuals can better engage in education, work, production, and nation-building activities to safeguard the homeland. /.
