Accordingly, the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee and the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee were merged into the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee; to be chaired by Duong Thi Thap, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; the positions of Deputy Heads of the Le Nam Thang, Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee, was assigned a position at the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

The conference also announced the Merging the Department of Home Affairs with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (LDTB&XH) into the Department of Home Affairs; Merging of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development into the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Establishment of the Department of Economics - Infrastructure and Urban Areas; Establishment of the Department of Culture - Science and Information; mobilization and appointment of the positions of Head and Deputy Head of the newly merged and established departments.

Post-reorganization, Thuy Nguyen City People's Committee will have ten specialized departments: Department of Internal Affairs; Department of Culture, Science and Information; Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Area; Department of Finance - Planning; Department of Agriculture and Environment; Department of Health; Department of Education and Training; Department of Justice; City Inspectorate; Office of People's Council and People's Committee of the city.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Pham Hung Hung, Secretary of the Thuy Nguyen City Party Committee, congratulated the comrades appointed at the Conference. He requested that the newly established and reorganized Party agencies and organizations continue to do well in political and ideological work, promptly stabilize the organization, hand over work; develop and advise competent authorities to issue operating regulations, assign tasks to cadres, civil servants, and Party members clearly, ensuring that the new apparatus operates immediately and efficiently after the decision takes effect./.
