Meeting To Celebrate 94th Anniversary Of The Communist Party Of Vietnam
On the morning of February 1st, Hai Phong City’s Standing Party Committee held a meeting to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd, 1930 - February 3rd, 2024), launching the book series “History of Hai Phong Party Committee, Volume 4, period 2001 - 2020 and awarded the Party membership Badge on February 3rd. Mr. Le Tien Chau, Member of the Hai Phong City Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Head of Hai Phong City’s National Assembly Delegation, chaired the meeting. Also attending were Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of Haiphong Party Committee, Chairman of the City Peoples Committee; Mr. Do Manh Hien - Standing Deputy Secretary of Haiphong Party Committee, Member of the City’s Standing Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the city Peoples Council, Vice Chairman of the city Peoples Committee, as well as former leaders.
In his commemorative speech, Hai Phong City’s Party Committee Secretary Le Tien Chau affirmed that the past 94 years had been a journey of wisdom and bravery from the Communist Party of Vietnam, founded and trained by the beloved Uncle Ho. Throughout the history of networks, Hai Phong has always been proud of its pioneering, heroic, resilient, and creative tradition. After nearly 40 years of implementing the Party's innovation policy dynamically and creatively, the city has made remarkable progress in terms of scale, stature, and face, as well as level and quality, economic, cultural, and social growth, increasingly deserving the role and position of a regional connection center; a growth-driving force of the region and the whole country; gradually reaching regional and international level.
On this occasion, the city leaders awarded badges representing 30, 40, 50, 60, and 65 years of Party membership to 15 leaders and former city leaders, recognizing their great contributions to the Party's revolutionary cause and launched the book series “History of Hai Phong Party Committee” - Volume 4, period 2001 - 2020./.
