Tan Vu – Lach Huyen Expressway Project starts

Vietnam Road Administration recently allocated the first package of Tan Vu- Lach Huyen Expressway Project with the total investment capital of over US$75 million to the joint venture of Oriental Consultants Co.,Ltd, Japan Bridge & Structure Institute, Inc, andNippon Koei Co., Ltd.

According to the contract, the Japanese contractors will consult, supervise and support the bidding for Tan Vu – Lach Huyen Expressway Project within 65 months from April 8th.

Using Japanese ODA fund of over US$568 million, Tan Vu – Lach Huyen Expressway Project is planned to start in early third quarter of 2013. Once completed, the new six-lane expressway with the total length of 15.63km, including 5.44km Dinh Vu overpass, will connect Hanoi – Haiphong Highway and Haiphong International Gateway Port.
