Passenger Transport Resumes Operation
On the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year (February 11th), transport enterprises started operations to serve peoples demand for traveling on several routes for spring travel and visiting relatives and friends to send New Year wishes.

The number of passengers at the Thuong Ly bus station on the 2nd day of Tet was not much, but some transport businesses still arrange a certain number of buses to serve passengers. The transport enterprises, drivers, and assistants have been complying with regulations and conditions on traffic safety strictly.

The rail transport enterprises also stayed true to their motto of serving the last passengers and creating maximum convenience. Based on the situation, passenger enterprises have proactively planned to increase flights during peak days after the Tet holiday.

To ensure the safety of passenger transport activities before, during, and after Tet, the Traffic Inspectorate under the Department of Transport has also strengthened inspections of transport business conditions by transport enterprises. According to the plan, from the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year, transport businesses will sell tickets again and focus on increasing vehicles and trips at the end of the Tet holiday, especially on the last day of the Tet holiday on the 5th and 6th of the Lunar New Year./.
