Instead of going to typical attractions in the South, many tourists have chosen tours to the North during Vietnam's traditional Tet holiday. With its distinctive landscape values and allure, Cat Ba National Park–the World Natural Heritage of Cat Ba Archipelago–emerged as a prime destination for both sightseeing and relaxation, attracting many European visitors.

Many international tourists chose to tour Lan Ha Bay on the first day of the lunar new year. After being recognized alongside the Ha Long Bay complex as a World Natural Heritage site by UNESCO, there has been a substantial increase in the number of visitors to the city's tourist hotspot, especially international tourists.

Positive prospects and optimism about the number of visitors on the first day of the new year promise Cat Ba to have many breakthroughs this year. With the target set by Cat Hai district to welcome 3.6 million visitors in 2024, there is a strong belief that this goal can be achieved. This accomplishment would affirm the pivotal role of tourism, constituting nearly 80% of the economic structure, and generate substantial budget revenue for the district. /.
