In the context of promoting digital transformation, Hai Phong Tax Department has made efforts to deploy the solution to strengthen electronic invoices generated from cash registers to modernize tax management, enhance transparency, prevent revenue loss and bring many benefits to both enterprises and people.

 According to Decree No. 70 dated March 20, 2025 of the Government, from June 1, business households with revenue of 1 billion VND/year or more must use electronic invoices generated from cash registers. Therefore, immediately after receiving instructions from higher agencies, Hai Phong City Tax has focused on guiding and supporting taxpayers to implement e-invoices according to regulations and so far basically completed the registration to use electronic invoices generated from cash registers according to the Decree.
 Hai Phong Tax Department identifies the implementation of electronic invoices generated from cash registers as a key task, aiming to expand the database and strictly manage business activities in the fields of food and beverage services, hotels and retails. Hai Phong Tax Department has closely coordinated with solution providers to ensure timely technology support to each household and small traders in the area.
