Visiting the shrimp farming area of ​​Son Truong Limited Company in Phu Long commune, Hai Phong City’s Party Committee Secretary Le Tien Chau expressed great appreciation for all the efforts made by the company in boldly investing in a high-tech shrimp farming model in an area of ​​about 106 hectares 13 years ago. He affirmed that this was a large-scale aquaculture model with modern farming technology. Inspecting the operation in the Dong Bai ferry terminal at Cai Vieng wharf, the City Party Committee Secretary, Mr. Le Tien Chau, emphasized that the 2024 Cat Hai district media festival took place on the weekend, so the number of tourists coming to Cat Ba increases. He requested Cat Hai district to follow the instructions of city leaders to urgently implement the investment project to expand ferry boarding and disembarking roads, sidewalks, and other auxiliary works serving Dong Bai ferry; expand the ferry's two sides to increase the number of ferries docking the terminal at the same time, meeting the demand for passenger transportation during the peak summer this year.

Regarding site clearance for the Xuan Dam international golf course project, Mr. Le Tien Chau requested Cat Hai district to quickly solve site clearance work for timely project implementation, strictly comply with processes and procedures of recovered land under law regulations, and resolutely handle cases, strictly handle violation cases of land lease and failure to pay land use fees. Besides, the district should carefully calculate locations of freshwater reservoir construction, ensuring a clean and stable water supply, contributing to the local tourism and services development attached to social security./.
