Deputy Prime Minister Meets Voters In Cat Hai District
On December 2nd morning, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and members of the Hai Phong National Assembly delegation met with voters in the Cat Hai district on the outcomes of the 15th NA’s concluded 6th session. Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Chairman of Haiphong People's Committee; Mr. Cao Xuan Lien, Member of Hai Phong City’s Standing Party Committee cum Chairman of Hai Phong City’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Bui Duc Quang, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council attended the meeting.
At the meeting, representatives of the Hai Phong National Assembly delegation reported to voters on the results of the National Assembly’s 6th session and the delegation’s activities at this session. After over three weeks of urgent, serious, scientific, democratic, and highly responsible work, the 6th Session has completed all proposed contents. With a high approval rate, the National Assembly voted to pass seven laws and eight resolutions, gave first opinions on eight draft laws, discussed and resolved other major issues, and promulgated a general resolution of the session.
The district’s voters were incredibly excited at this session as the National Assembly took votes of confidence for positions elected by the National Assembly and passed many bills with current concerns. The voters made recommendations related to contents such as management, use, exploitation, and protection of marine resources and environment; marine spatial planning; mechanisms and policies on land; Policy on protection and management of world natural heritage; mechanisms, policies, and support solutions, especially for medical workers in remote, mountainous and island areas and many other issues./.
