Arranging Commune-Level Administrative Units
According to the citys plan to arrange commune and district-level administrative units for the 2023-2025 period, Tien Lang district has successfully arranged three commune-level units. Thanks to efforts in communication, the policy has gained approval from the residents, officials, and civil servants, which were the essential factors for the successful implementation of the administrative unit arrangement in the district.
Up to this point, the preparation for the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Quang Phục, Toàn Thắng, and Bạch Đằng communes has been essentially completed. Voter lists have been posted at the Commune People's Committee offices and cultural houses in the villages to facilitate voters in verifying their information.
Furthermore, as per the project on arranging commune-level administrative units for the 2023-2025 period, three communes of Quang Phục, Toàn Thắng, and Bạch Đằng communes of Tien Lang district will merge into a single administrative unit named Tân Minh. The headquarters of the new administrative unit will be in Quang Phục commune, with an area of 20.08 km2 and a population of nearly 24,180 people.
Up to this point, the progress of the project to arrange commune-level administrative units in the district for the period 2023-2025 has been essentially completed. The consultation with voters is expected to be finished by March 30th, followed by a meeting of the Commune People's Council to approve the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units by April 7th, 2024. Tien Lang district aims for a voter feedback rate exceeding 95%./.
