VND 16 Billion Channeled Into Charity Programme-Tet 2025
With the models of Fair - gift giving - happy Tet, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Hai Phong Red Cross and the grassroots strive to care for and support 32 thousand poor, near-poor, people in difficult circumstances, disadvantaged, lonely and vulnerable people, with a total value of 16 billion VND.
The average value of each gift is 500 thousand VND, and the minimum value is 200 thousand VND or more. The city-level leaders will organize three "Charity programs” for Tet 2025 with a scale of 200 beneficiaries or more and a value of at least 100 million VND/program. At the district level, there are 14 "Tet for the Poor" charity programs with a scale of about 100 beneficiaries and a value of at least 50 million VND/program. These programs will take place from January 7 to 26, 2025, with the peak from January 14 to 23, 2025./.
