Mr. Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Phong City Party Committee, Head of Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee and chairman of the People's Council as well as vice chairmen of the city’s People's Council and People's Committee attended the event. After 99 years of construction and development, the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press has made great contributions to the country's development throughout history. At the meeting, Mrs. Dao Khanh Ha, Head of the Department of Propaganda & Training under the Hai Phong City Party Committee, gave an overview of the vibrant press activities of the revolutionary journalists from the Central and Hai Phong press agencies with encouraging results, contributing to timely and effectively providing information about the city's breakthrough development in economic and social fields, especially the city's major orientations, policies and decisions.

At the meeting, representatives of press agencies thanked city leaders at all levels, branches, and localities for creating favorable conditions to help journalists work in all fields of life. At the same time, Hai Phong is one of the localities with active and open cooperation, always grasping, receiving, and promptly resolving feedback from the press to develop the city.
