(Haiphong.gov.vn) - To date, Haiphong has ranked 2nd in the country for highest FDI capital investment. This is resulted from the well-contained activities against the pandemic. When FDI capital eyes the shift from epicenters to the less-stricken nations, FDI capital inflow is still poured into Haiphong, which has demonstrated the safety and stability of investment climate in this city.
FDI enterprises are usually the big corporations with the globally-located production system and chains, so they will shift into better-facilitated areas when the production lines in certain regions face difficulties. However, there have been no enterprises removing production workshops out of Haiphong city due to impacts of Covid-19. Otherwise, a range of businesses have officially increased capital and undertaken to enlarge the scale.
Since early this year, the time to handle investment procedures for enterprises in Haiphong has been drastically reduced. And this has been highly appreciated by businesses as production normalization without resolving formality congestion could not appeal investors.
