Raw Material Market Management Strengthened
Hai Phong Market Management Department has launched an inspection and control campaign to prevent the production and trading of counterfeit and smuggled goods of unknown origin, not ensuring quality and food safety.
The City’s Market Management Department focuses on inspecting moon cake production facilities in terms of commodity, use of additives, food processing, and food safety conditions for business establishments, agents, and shops selling moon cakes. The department also paid great attention to the product origin, quality, and food safety conditions.
Market management forces have also strengthened the inspection of manufacturers and traders of children's toys, checking the origin, invoices, documents, goods labeling, certification of conformity, and compliance with legal regulations. The inspectorates have focused on multifunctional smart toys, children's toys at high risk of being toxic, inciting violence, and false images, drawings, and symbols that might confuse people.
The Mid-Autumn Festival marks the period when consumer demand increases for cakes, candies, and children's toys, especially moon cakes. Therefore, strengthening inspection and control to stabilize the goods market and protect the rights and health of consumers is extremely necessary.
