Promotion To Merge Administrative Boundaries Policies
The project to adjust the administrative boundaries in An Duong District to expand the area of Hong Bang District and establish wards within the district is currently being carried out by Hong Bang District following the regulations. Localities are actively raising people’s awareness about the project.

As per the plan, the natural area and population of three communes - An Hong, An Hung, and Dai Ban in An Duong district will be managed by Hong Bang district. Furthermore, the natural area and population of Ha Ly and Trai Chuoi wards will be included in the Thuong Ly ward. In addition to following procedures, localities are also focusing on raising awareness among people about the adjustment. Although people in Ha Ly ward strongly support the project, they have also expressed their wishes. To respond to people's concerns, the locality has increased the dissemination of the city and the district's policies to the residents.

After the adjustment, Hong Bang district will have 10 wards covering an area of approximately 40 km2 and a population of over 171,500. The restructuring of administrative units aims to expand urban space, streamline public administration, reduce the burden on housing costs, and enhance the quality of officials and civil servants to better the public. This initiative will contribute to the development of Hong Bang district as a central urban hub of the city, serving as a cultural, scientific, and technical center, and a commercial, service, and tourism hub in the North Coast region./.
