Progress Of Hai Phong City’s Convention–Concert Center Project
The city’s convention–concert center is being built by the city’s Urban Development Project Management Board for civil works. The contractors are doing the most to speed up the progress and strive to complete relocating the city's political-administrative center to the Bac Song Cam (North of Cam River) area by 2025.
More than three months after the groundbreaking day, Hai Phong City’s Convention and Performance Center was promptly deployed by the contractor, Corporation 319, under the Ministry of National Defense. Currently, the project has been on schedule.
The City’s Convention and Performance Center has a total investment capital of more than 2,300 billion VND. The project has a scale of 1,500 seats with three up-deck floors and one basement built on an area of nearly 12.4 hectares. The height (from the roof peak) is 36.5m, and the total floor area accounts for approximately 50,000 m2, equipped with auxiliary works and a synchronous technical infrastructure system.
According to the plan, the project will be completed in mid-2025, just in time to accommodate the 17th Hai Phong City’s Party Congress.
