Party secretary pays a working visit to Czech republic
Last week, a delegation of Hai Phong city led by Mr. Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation, began a 9-day working visit to the Czech Republic and the Kingdom of Belgium. This working visit aims to promote trade cooperation and investment promotion between Hai Phong and the European partners.

Within the framework of the working program in the Czech Republic, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau and the delegation worked with CTP Group - the largest commercial real estate management and development group in the Czech Republic. Here, the two sides officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board and CTP Group, in which CTP Group committed to immediately invest 1 The city delegation also had a working session with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Czech Republic. Mr. Zdenek Zajicek - Chairman of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry warmly received the delegation. Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau emphasized that Hai Phong considered the meeting a great opportunity to connect the business communities of the two sides. With the support of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the connection role of the Vietnam Committee under the Chamber, the Secretary of Hai Phong Party Committee said that Hai Phong wishes to closely coordinate with the Czech Republic in organizing business forums, investment and trade promotion programs to enhance the Vietnam - Czech Republic Strategic Partnership.
Next, the city delegation worked with Mr. Martin Frelich, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. The two sides agreed that in the coming time, they will organize business forums, trade and investment promotion programs, send market survey delegations and hold meetings to connect and expand investment cooperation between businesses of the two countries.
