On March 31st evening, the People's Committee of Cat Hai District held the Opening Ceremony for “Cat Ba Tourism 2023” at the Central Square of the Cat Ba Tourist Area. The art program themed "Green Cat Ba 2023" consists of 3 parts: “The love song of the Country”, “Cat Ba –rendezvous of Love” and “Ocean Dance” to introduce and honor traditional values, the local life and the culture in the coastal area as well as promote the potential and unique strengths of Cat Ba archipelago. In 2004, Cat Ba was recognized by UNESCO to be a Biosphere reserve of the world and in 2013, the Prime Minister of Vietnam regards the Isles as a special national monument of scenic beauty. In 2020, Lan Ha Bay was included in the Club of the Most Beautiful Bays of the World. In recent years, Cat Ba has added various new, unique, high-quality, and attractive tourist products, refreshing the image of Cat Ba, and enhancing the position of local tourism. In 2022, Cat Ba was voted as the top 10 friendly tourist destinations in Vietnam.
